Tattoo

Please wash hands with soap and water.  Preferably an antibacterial fragrance-free soap over the newly tattooed area. Use the amount [?] of Bepanthen or panthenol cream to work over the tattoo. Allow it to coat the area then wrap with cling film and wear 8-10 hours daily. Repeat for 5 days, changing the wrap while washing the area daily. During showers, tattoos will peel as normal. Good hygiene is essential during this healing process.

The standard tattoo goos and cream process (3-4 times daily) can take 12-14 days, while scabs form. Bepanthen has a much shorter healing time.

Avoid: Submerging in chlorinated waters such as pools, hot tubs, etc. The sweat from another person is a toxin and can affect the new tattoo. Direct heat and sunlight, tanning beds, etc, can also fade and harm your tattoo within the first 5 weeks, so please avoid these too

Piercing Aftercare

USE WARM SEA SALT WATER (SALINE) SOAKS – MORNING AND EVENING
Soaking your piercing with a warm, mild sea salt water solution will not only feel good,
it will also help prevent infection, reduce the risk of scarring, and speed the healing of your piercing. Do not touch your piercing without first washing your hands; and leave your jewelry in at all times!

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly.

  2. Use the ratios below to create your own saline mixture:

    • 1⁄4 teaspoon to 8 ounces of water

    • 1/2 teaspoon to 16 ounces of water

    • 1 teaspoon to 1 quart of water

    • 4 teaspoons to 1 gallon of water

  3. Warm the solution in the microwave, then attempt to completely submerge the piercing in the solution for 10 minutes. If the piercing is in an area that can’t be submerged, you can soak a non-woven gauze and apply that to the piercing, keeping it saturated for 10 minutes.

  4. Rinse the area with clean, running water, then pat it dry with a clean paper towel.

  5. If your jewelry is threaded (barbells, etc.) check it to make sure it’s still tight! Remember “righty tighty, lefty loosey.

YOU MAY USE STERILE WOUND-CARE SALINE MORNING AND EVENING AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO SEA SALT WATER SOAKS
Sterile wound-care saline spray does not have all the benefits of a warm soak, but it is a more convenient alternative when a warm soak isn’t a viable option. Do not touch your pierc- ing without first washing your hands; and leave your jewelry in at all times!

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly.

  2. Either spray the saline directly on the piercing to liberally flush the piercing, or soak a

non-woven gauze in saline and apply that to the piercing, keeping it saturated for 10

    minutes, 2 times daily.
